However, there are a few cheats (the ones I really want) that are missing, and also cheats for several games. I'm familiar with how the r4 and its software works ect, I've had an r4 since it first arrived.

My problem is I can't get these cheats onto the game, I'll explain why with the use of an example. I have 2 games. One of them has cheats, the other does not. (On the CHEAT.DAT file).

On the one that does have cheats, it is a missing one I really want. On the one that does not have any cheats, I want cheats. So, I start with the one that does not have cheats.

I download the cheat code editor, add in the game and the cheats ect, and test it out- the cheats work fine. Next, the game that already has cheats, but is missing one I want. I can't open the CHEAT.DAT file with the editor, it causes the program to close (unknown error).

It is 8,168 KB, so I'm guessing it is too large. (I came to realise that the CHEAT.DAT file from my other r4 system does not open either despite being significantly smaller).

So I try the other route, I go to the database I created, add the new game, add cheats ect, go to test it out- no such luck. I cannot access my own cheats for the game, because the cheats from the other dominant database are there. I have tried deleting the other database, but then no cheats work, not even my own. Unlike my other r4, I cannot just access the second database because there is only one button to do so. On my other r4 card, there is a space to the left, and when you add your own, the space on the right to choose cheats. However, with this, the cheats space is on the right, as the left is taken up by settings (enable cheats/single card play/in game reset). Simply, what the hell do I do?

You Clearly mess with the R4 Firmware sufficiently:) Tutorial -> Cheat's -> Maybe you can enlighten me some on this subject. Operation research by pkgupta and dshira free. Ages ago i tested The Old R4 card's and came to the conclusion.

The new firmware ran new games, the old firmware ran older games. So i'd need to create a batch file to copy over the firmware dependent on. The game they wish to play (Very annoying no?) But this R4 Gold. The Firmware runs all games? (Is there new firmware?) Can i use the firmware on an old R4 Card? Ya see my missus loves NDS (I Got her the PC Emulator) So she can play NDS Games on her laptop. But it's not that good.

And i'm deterred from getting one till i can be bothered to. Learn & Configure an easier way to Run All The NDS Games.
